  That happened to me when my son was a boy of about eleven years old.   I find this part of JK's quote very disturbing. I remember reading it when my marriage was breaking up. I thought to myself then and still do "What a disgusting basis for a marriage"

  Can We Please Stop Referring To The Simplified English Watchtower A The Dumbed Down Version

  i really shouldn't have to say any of this but as someone who is in the process of learning a second language, i can tell that simple language makes things a lot clearer when you are not familiar with the language.

  everyone on here started out reading simplified english while they were learning, including you native speakers.

  i'm sure no one here was reading on a college level in elementary school.

  i know if you join the military it is considered that you have dissassociated yourself...but if you are in an accident and are given blood when you are unconcious...is that in itself reason for df?

  or what if you willingly accepted a blood transfusion?

  what if you do not show remorse or repentance or even refuse to meet with the elders?

  That for me is one of the most frustrating things about this cult They defame you your witness friends and family believe it and there is nothing you can do about it. For your own peace of mind As Morbidzbaby said "Let it go"

  Or on second thoughts Oompa ...you could go and punch them in the face... Won't help your reputation but you may feel better

  Some years ago I was asked to help in the crèche at church so the parents could enjoy the service The Queensland government had introduced a law which I believe is similar to the one in Victoria. Anyone who worked with children had to have a police background check and be issued with a card. So I got my card and helped care for the kids.

  One Sunday I was consoling a toddler who was crying. Eventually he settled down got off my knee to go and play with some of the other children then he turned round came back to me and gave me his teddy bear to look after. I treasure that memory. Children need safe adult males to relate to and any government initiative to protect them from those that would abuse that trust should be applauded not resisted.

  The watchtower has its reasons for not complying with this legislation none of which are in the best interests of the children

  i was reading a thread on here the other day, and it occured to me.

  the very thing i have claimed in the title.. reading you all bickering over a certain subject.

  i assumed that some of you are only here to genuinely to create arguments, and i saw that some are genuinely lost and some of you dont believe they are lost but they are.. i saw you judging your fellow posters as if you knew something, but truth be told none of us do.
